Gold isn’t just rare here on Earth. It’s scarce throughout the entire universe. That’s because it is created only in the Universe’s most violent explosions. All the gold everywhere was created in either a supernova explosion, or else in the collision of neutron stars.
I did this pour on 2018-01-18. Unlike many of my paintings, I did not create this one while volunteering. I did it at home. It is one of my earliest acrylic pours, and still one of my best.
